Imprint is currently a free product test. This page explains what we store and how to reach us about your data.
Your account
Creating an account uses an email address and a password. Passwords are stored as secure hashes — we do not store them in plain text.
What Imprint stores
For signed-in readers we store your library (books and reading status), notes and highlights, preferences and insights derived from your reading, recommendation feedback, and relevant product activity needed to run the service.
Companion conversations are stored as part of the product experience so you can continue where you left off.
AI features
When you talk with Companion, your message and relevant context may be sent to the configured AI provider (currently Anthropic) so it can reply. We do not sell your reading library.
